Michael LeGault (Matt Locker) lives in a beautiful mansion along
with his Sister Lenore (Deana Demko), his love, Adelaide (Mona Sethi) and a
few close relatives. There are several servants who maintain the huge house
as well as look after Mr. LeGault. He loves music and performs in a Rock and
Roll band. Oh, one thing, Mr. LeGault is a Vampire. He's 300+ years old and
has seen many changes through the years. He has seen all his human friends die
of old age and it deeply saddens him.
Their only source of blood comes from an old Blood Bank located in the rear
of an old storefront. It has been in existence, in this particular place, for
over 75 years. All the paperwork is kept up to date by Justin Burke (Gerry Kirshbaum),
the family's legal counsel. Mr. Burke oversees the LeGault's fortune and takes
care of the family businesses along with an accountant. His estimated worth
over 600 million in liquid assets and an additional 900 million in real estate
holdings. He enjoys the Christmas Season (especially playing Santa) giving expensive
gifts to his household help and charities. Overall, he is a well respected businessman
who prefers to work evenings.
Adelaide killed the thug and tore him to shreds; she also drank
his blood... This was witnessed by Jerry Phillips (Bob Smith) the health inspector
investigating the Blood Bank. He has been on the owners trail since he discovered
that there is no record of any hospital or organization receiving the donated
blood. The Police investigate the murder and say it looks like he was mauled
to death by a tiger or other large animal. Adelaide becomes sick with the blood
she drank and the family discovers that she has contracted a disease. Michael
contacts several scientists and brings them to work in his custom built lab.
He also donates huge amounts of money and machinery to any organization that
is working on a cure for this disease. He continues to be cheerful, playing
Santa and giving out gifts, but time is not on his side. It appears that the
medication that slows the disease or puts it into remission in humans actually
speeds up the course of the disease in a Vampire's body. Adelaide dies and the
family is unsure of how to properly say good bye to her.
Justin Burke is sent to see Dr. Tara Wolfe (Jamie Stone). Dr. Wolfe has been
studying the Occult and Paranormal for years and has researched the LeGault
family for several articles, one which was written up in journal titled "Vampires
and Urban Legend". Mr. LeGault familiar with her work asks for her help
in arranging a "Funeral Service". After Justin Burke's visit, Dr.
Wolfe finds some old reel to reel tapes in the archives and discovers that there
is an account of the "Funeral of an Ancient One". She meets with Rosemary
Ellen Guiley her Associate and they listen to the tapes.
Rosemary Ellen Guiley (playing herself in the movie is a real occult expert and author of many book) is concerned that Tara Wolfe wants to become a Vampire because of her desire to do endless research. You will see the entire ritual and see what happens when this family is pushed to the edge. The movie's soundtrack includes music from the German Band "Diary of Dreams" and music from Konrad Henkul Cd "Hatebox". Locations include the Jersey Shore, Princeton, Milford, Kearny, Newark, New Jersey's famous "Miller's Tavern" and other New Jersey spots. The cast includes New Jersey actors. Directed by John Orrichio.
